Vida Style Decor Tips
If you're not familiar with the colour wheel it's likely you have at least seen it somewhere. A tool commonly used by artists, designers and hobbyists, it can be very useful for making decisions about colour combinations
When decorating your home don't let colour choices be stressful. If you're not sure about colour schemes take a look at a colour wheel.
There are many ways to use and combine colours using the colour wheel, the two easiest methods to master are the following:
→ Complementary colours: those opposite each other i.e. red and green
→ Split complementary colours: pick a colour and use the colour that is on each side of the colour's complementary colour i.e. red goes with yellow-green and blue-green
By using different shades, tints and tones for each colour you can have a harmonious colour scheme for your space
If you are interested in exploring more complicated combinations feel free to reach out directly and I can help you. Otherwise, I'll be back later with more tips on how to use the colour wheel.
Happy colour choosing.
